New Life Primary School

New Life Primary School is an English medium school located in rural Eswatini. The school is located on the property of New Life Children’s Homes, which provides a permanent home for 40 of Eswatini’s orphaned children. The school was started to serve these 40 children exclusively—to provide a unique educational environment that would support the emotional needs of orphaned and vulnerable children.

Our vision is to develop competent and confident young people who are prepared to contribute to their community, nation, and world.

Today, approximately 70 students attend the preschool and elementary school. Teachers include foreign volunteers as well as local Swazis. We have a great need for additional teachers. If you are a qualified teacher interested in volunteering at the school, please email [email protected] or [email protected].

Our mission is to provide excellent education at preschool and elementary levels. A Christian worldview provides a foundation for all other learning, which includes rigorous teaching and learning standards.

New Life Primary School opened in January 2009 with a preschool and grades one and two. The children attending the school included children living at New Life Children’s Homes, as well as several children of farm staff. Soon, community members contacted the school, expressing interest in their children also attending. New Life Primary School agreed to open enrollment to those living nearby.

In 2010, foreign donors helped build the first school building, consisting of two classrooms. Grades 3 and 4 were added in 2010. Today, the school educates students from preschool to grade 7, which concludes elementary school is Eswatini. The school now has three classrooms, and enrollment grows each year.
